About
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed and attachment-focused approach to psychotherapy, integrating psychodynamic theory, somatic awareness, and modern neuroscience.
As a psychotherapist, mother, wife, and deep-feeler, I know first-hand how life’s challenges can soften, shape, and reveal us. I have learned that growth often comes in moments of vulnerability, and that connection—to ourselves and others—is at the heart of meaningful change. My relationships with loved ones, my own transitions, and the rhythms of life have shown me the subtle ways we evolve and find our way back to our essence. These insights guide both my life and the way I hold space for the people I work with.
Motherhood has been one of the most profound teachers in my life. My two children are nine years apart and came to me through very different journeys. My oldest joined us quickly, while my youngest arrived after seven years of fertility treatments, loss, heartbreak, and soul-deep learning. Motherhood has brought immense joy, alongside moments that challenged me to expand my patience, presence, and compassion. It has taught me how to hold space for both light and shadow—a lesson I carry into every therapeutic relationship.
For over twenty-five years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people in moments of vulnerability, transition, and transformation. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York and Texas, and I also work as a life coach. I provide psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups via telehealth, working through a trauma-informed, attachment-focused lens grounded in psychodynamic theory, somatic awareness, and modern neuroscience.
My professional training has taken me across continents—from the Anna Freud Centre and Tavistock Clinic in London to Hunter College and Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and Toronto. Each experience has deepened my understanding of the human psyche and expanded the insight and tools I bring to my work.
Having lived in multiple cities and countries, I understand what it means to start over, carry the visible and invisible weight of migration, and find belonging in unexpected places. Born in Lima, Peru, I bring the warmth, rhythm, and soul of my heritage into my work, infusing sessions with grounded presence, intuition, and a reverence for life’s mysteries.
Many of the people I work with are sensitive, intuitive, and high-achieving, searching for something deeper—emotional resilience, more honest relationships, or a fuller expression of who they truly are. I work with women learning to step out of old patterns, men ready to connect more fully with their emotions, and anyone drawn to healing that feels real and soulful. Relationships hold a central place in my work, because the way we relate to others shapes so much of our experience and growth. I also support neurodiverse individuals and families, offering a compassionate, affirming space to explore their unique journeys.
I am devoted to my own ongoing growth—both as a therapist and as a human being. I continue learning through advanced training, consultation groups, and guidance from seasoned mentors. My path is also shaped by spiritual study, intuition, and embodied practices such as meditation and breathwork, which nourish my inner life and deepen the presence I bring to this work. I approach therapy with a sense of aliveness, curiosity, and reverence for the unseen currents that shape our inner and relational worlds, bringing attention, intention, and attunement into the therapeutic space.
I offer psychotherapy in both English and Spanish, helping thoughtful, sensitive people reconnect with themselves, embrace their depth, and live more fully.
I believe in the human capacity to heal and live with greater ease, meaning, and freedom.
